After years of advising against buying an accommodation for residence, billionaire co-founder of Zerodha, Nikhil Kamath (38) whose net worth is nearly Rs 310 crores, finally bought a property. The reason? Landlord, of course, who wanted the young fintech mogul to vacate. In his WTF podcast, Nikhil Kamath remarked that while there are several advantages of renting a house, there’s one disadvantage: you don’t know when you will move out of the house. The episode featured CEO of WeWork India Karan Virwani, and the Chairman and MD of Prestige Group, Irfan Razack. No surprises there why the emphasis on buying and not renting.
