As security concerns rise, Bollywood actor Salman Khan resumed shooting for Bigg Boss 18, with heightened security following threats against his life. The actor arrived on set late Thursday (17 October) night, accompanied by a large security detail in the light of recent events.

According to a report by the Hindustan Times, sources say that Khan is staying in a secured chalet within the production compound, where shooting for Bigg Boss 18 will continue as planned.

The crew is under orders to remain on site till the shooting finishes to ensure everyone is accounted for. More than 60 guards are present to monitor the area, and access to the compound is tightly controlled, requiring all entrants to undergo Aadhar Card Verification.

The strong security detail reflects the seriousness of the situation due to recent threats by organized crime. Recently, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly sent a threat to the Mumbai Traffic Police, demanding a ransom of Rs. 5 crore from Khan. The message warned that failure to comply would result in dreadful consequences, referencing the recent murder of Former Member of the Maharashtra Assembly Baba Siddique, who was killed one day after Khan shot an episode of Bigg Boss.

In response, authorities have increased Khan’s protection, which includes a dedicated police escort, and a trained constable equipped with firearms. The tight security reflects the serious risks Khan, and Bollywood at large, is facing. As one of Bollywood’s most important figures, Khan’s status makes him a target for criminal elements seeking to settle scores and exert influence.

Despite the tensions, the Bigg Boss production team is determined to proceed with the shoot of two Weekend Ka Vaar episodes, which are airing this weekend. Producers and channel executives are working closely with Khan’s security team to ensure all required precautions are taken, allowing the show to continue without any untoward incidents.
